my son switched from wearing garters under his hockey gear to using this. He loves it! The velcro on the leg holds the socks up and he is very comfortable in them. He doesn't like the cup, however. It is very long and kind of narrow - he says it is uncomfortable. So he just wears his other cup and it works perfectly. i ordered a boys large - he is 71 lbs and about 4'7". So perhaps the cup is just too large for him. Anyway, this is a great product! -- pretty nice

I purchased this for my 5 year old son. The Shock Doctor fits perfect and the velcro for attaching socks makes getting him dressed to play much easier. -- Great Product
